10/13/2026 - Field Note = JonBenét Ramsey

In revisiting the JonBenét Ramsey case, I found something the original investigators never measured: the ransom note and the family’s later interviews share the same emotional fingerprint. Both use language that pulls back—fewer “I” statements, more “I guess” and “you know,” words that seem to hide behind caution. It’s not proof of guilt or innocence, but it is a window into how people under pressure compress the truth to survive it. This pattern, uncovered through new linguistic analysis, changes how we read every word left behind.
